Day 1: The Genoa cruise sails from Genoa, which as a city seemed very boring and confused to us. We didn't look at it at all, but just boarded the ship. Shortly after we left Genoa, we stopped at sea to watch some of the crew make a demonstrative evacuation with the rescue boats so that all passengers would know what to do in the event of an accident.
